This 40Vmax 190 mm cordless sliding compound miter saw features a right-side slide pole for a clearer cut line and approximately 2.5x faster cutting speed compared with the Makita 190 mm AC model (measured on Merapi wood 50 mm thick x 300 mm wide). The high-power brushless motor delivers AC-surpassing cutting performance, while constant speed control maintains stable RPM under heavy load for smooth, accurate finishes.

With a single pass it cuts up to 62 mm x 312 mm and supports 1-shaku cutting with a 190 mm blade. The saw offers high rigidity for high-precision cuts, with dual bevel 45° left/right plus an additional 1° for perfect butt joints on baseboards. A space-saving slide structure allows use close to walls, with a fixed storage depth of 649 mm. Weighing only 12 kg (with BL4025), it is easy to carry and transport.

Front-side controls combine the bevel lock grip and release lever in one location, and a retractable sub table supports wider materials. Wireless dust extraction starts automatically when the saw is switched on, needing only a hose connection for a tidier worksite; the dust hose on the saw side is removable. Powered by a 36 V (40Vmax) slide-type Li-ion battery (battery and charger sold separately), it runs at 4,000 rpm and offers per-charge work volume of about 115 cuts in Merapi wood (50 x 300 mm) or about 270 cuts in flooring (12 x 300 mm) using BL4025. Cutting capacity at 0° bevel and 0° miter is 62 x 312 mm or 70 x 265 mm (with 25 mm backing board). Blade diameter is 190 mm (usable 180–190 mm), bore 20 mm.
